HYBRID AIR CONDITIONER

This device is the perfect solution to the problems of traditional technology, and also provides 90% energy savings. Hybrid air conditioning allows to reduce energy costs at usual design.

This Hybrid Air Conditioner includes: an energy management unit that controls the distribution of energy received from thermoelectric generators. This energy is redirected to the power supply of the air conditioner itself, or power supply to the network or to external carriers.

The difference of this Hybrid Air Conditioner from standard air conditioners is the availability of elements that are able to convert heat and cold into electricity. By means of PN transition the air conditioner can generate electricity during transmitting the recycled heat and cold through itself. The temperature difference (Δt) is formed between the sides of the thermoelectric generator and can vary depending on the external air temperature, an average of 40-50 degrees. According to this principle the thermoelectric generator is capable of producing a direct current. The thermoelectric generator is added to the air conditioner design, as well as the converter, the network inverter and the air conditioning control system.

Elements of the thermoelectric generator are located on three heat exchangers (recuperators) and will be connected in series, which will ensure the summation of the power of each element. After that, the received energy goes to the converter, which converts the DC voltage into the voltage required for the network inverter. A network inverter will divide and redirect the received energy from the network and the energy from the elements. All information about the amount of electricity generated by the air conditioner, and, consequently, about the economy of the consumer will be displayed on the control panel display.

Hybrid Air Conditioner is designed to create comfortable microclimate conditions in use in household, industrial and administrative premises, mobile objects, at technological processes.

This Hybrid Air Conditioner consumes much less electricity from the network in comparison with the existing air conditioning systems. Air conditioning is carried out according to the following scheme: conditioned air (with or without the addition of outdoor air) – fan – air filtration – air heating (cooling) – air supply to the room.

The most energy-intensive operations in the air conditioning process are air heating or cooling. Each of these operations requires the use of special expensive equipment.

Air cooling is a particularly relevant way of air conditioning. In most air conditioning methods, a method of cooling air with refrigerants (ammonia, freons, hydrogen, nitrogen, etc.) with a low boiling point is used. As a rule, during the cooling of the room, it is necessary to continuously utilize the residual amount of heat. Modern air conditioning systems take heat outside the premises.
